Harri has been writing ‘stuff’ all her life. But after a varied career first as an actor, an aerobics teacher and a waitress, she then worked as a writer/trainer for Weight Watchers UK. Now she splits her time between writing and teaching Mat Pilates, personal training and running. She is passionate about helping people to keep fit and age successfully.

‘Pilates for Runners’ was a book she has been meaning to write forever. A wonderful short course called ‘From Pitch to Publication’ run by the author/journalists Glynis Kozma and Liat Hughes Joshi pointed her in the right direction and the rest, as they say, is history.

‘Pilates for Runners’ was published by Bloomsbury Sport in April 2017 and ‘Pilates for Living’ was published by Bloomsbury Sport in April 2018.  Meanwhile, she is working on other titles to be released soon.

In the past Harri has also written for various magazines and has featured in both Women’s Running and Running Fitness Magazine. She writes short stories, dreams of getting her novel published (when she finally finishes it) and living on top of a mountain somewhere hot. Currently she lives with her husband, son and two mad Border Terriers in Marlow, Bucks.
